Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation of the requirements of all relevant SHE legislation, Henkel company standards and procedures.
• Coordinate all aspects of Incident investigations to include detailed reporting and root cause analysis.
• Collation and reporting of all relevant SHE KPI’s. Ensure reporting is in accordance with all legal and corporate requirements including SHE com and other as required.
• Ensure that all SHE activities and all operations and duties involved in management of SHE aspects are carried out cost effectively.
• Regularly maintain and update the Company’s SHE procedures, systems, programs, and other documents such as emergency response plans, explosion protection documents etc.
• Identify and implement programs aimed at accident elimination by hazard identification, risk assessment and the implementation of control measures, SHE training programs for all employees.
• Assist in control and coordination of all aspects of waste management, contractor management, high risk work activities on site.
• Assist in implementation and act the company management representative for ISO standards on Environment, Safety and Energy.
• Support the site sustainability programs and other business improvement initiatives.
• Promote SHE awareness throughout the organization by a strong presence on the shop floor and supporting the various departments for Continuous Improvement on SHE topics.

Requirements:

• Chemical or Technical engineering high education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a SHE role
• Competent to lead process safety reviews, behavior safety assessments and workshops, waste management activities and compliance reviews
• Qualified to conduct SHE audits and risk assessments
• Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills
• Must be able to set their own agenda and lead the development of SHE throughout the organization
• English skills: Intermediate level
